Left tube electopic pregnancy. Uterus is seen in the center. The probe is used to move the left fluopian tube into view. The fibrated end of the tube contains the early ectopic pregnancy. The patient is slowly bleeding through the fluopian tube into the abdomen. Free blood is seen collecting behind the uterus in the cul-de-sac and also between the liver and the diaphragm. After the ectopic is expelled or surgically teased out the end of the fluopian tube, all bleeding stops. The abdomen is irrigated to be sure there is no additional bleeding.
