breng een ruimoeveelheid vaseline aan op het voorste deel van de rectumcanule. Leg deze in het bekken. Slade dekens terug en vraag de patiënt zijn onder lichaam te ontbloten. Verwijder op één na alle kussens en vraag de patiënt de knie elleboop positie aan te nemen. Laat het hoofd op het kussen rusten. Dek het onderste deel van de rug toe met een handdoek. Leg de zelfstofonderleger tussen de iets gespreide benen van de patiënt. Zet het bekken met de rectumcanule op de zelfstofonderleger. Trek de dispoors wel handschoenen aan. Sluit de toevoerslang op de rectumcanule aan.
Open voor de helft het kraantje van de toevoerslang. Houd de druppelende canule boven het bekken. Dan ga ik hem nu inbrengen. Sprijt met je linkerhand de billen en breng met de rechterhand de druppelende canule ongeveer 10 centimeter in het kolon.
Open het kraantje volledig en laat de vloeistof inlopen. Informeer regelmatig hoe het met de patiënt gaat. Gaat dat een beetje? Ja, voelt u nog niet misselijk duizend. Je kunt u dat gelijk zeggen. Ik hoop dat het net zo goed gaat als de volgende vorige keer. Ja, dat betekent wel. Controleer op de maatverdeling van de irrigator of de vloeistof gelijkmatig inloopt. Ja hoor. Oké, ik hou contact met u. Het is bijna gebeurd nu. Het is alweer bijna voorbij. Draai het kraantje dicht voordat de irrigator leeg is. Nu gaan we nu verwijderen.
Neem de rectum canule uit de anus en leg deze in het bekken. De billen spieren. Aanspannen. Veeg de anus schoon met toiletpapier. Trek de disposeble handschoenen uit. U mag nu vast gaan ondraaien. Vraag de patiënt zich om te draaien en helpen in een zittende houding. Billen spieren goed aangespannen. Doe even hoofdstof omhoog. Want dan kun je beter rechtop blijven zitten. Slade dekenns terug. Breng het oproepsysteem binnen handbereik. Vraag de patiënt de vloeistof zo lang mogelijk, circa 15 minuten in te houden. Zet de postdoel gereed naast het bed van de patiënt.
Informeer naar de bevindingen van de patiënt. Ruim de gebruikte materialen op. Was je handen? Rapporteer relevante gegevens.
