Okay, we're almost done so we're going to do the proctoscope fix-down. I'm going to be inserting this into your rectum. Did I have that before? No, this is a little bit more thorough than what you had before. And it attaches to the slide assembly here after I've inserted it. And this way we'll be able to get a nice view of the inside of your rectum. I may be inflating it a little bit. What? I'm going to be putting some air in there so that I can see better.
Well, and it will be more comfortable that way for you, Jim. And after this thorough end of an exam, you won't need another one for about a year. Probably, you know, I know you'll be spotting. So, it's not something you'll need again in six months. Thank goodness. Unless we decide to refer you to the gastroenterologist for a flexible sigmoidoscope example. Right, what is that? Maybe if I see anything. What's the sigmoidoscope? It's much longer than this flexible and it goes up into your colon. How far? I mean, what?
Pretty much all the way. Six feet. Yeah, you can go pretty much all the way. Speed? Yeah, this is much higher so you can move. Yeah, exactly. Now, this is just to help get your rectum. Yeah, this isn't that serious. But you don't think I need that signal? Well, it depends on what I see. Yeah, this will help determine that. But assuming you're fine, you won't need anything for it, you know. So what I need is, I'm sorry, what I need is for you to be up on your knees and elbows
again. Okay, I need help. The most important thing is to relax. I'm tired of it. Well, that's not necessary because your bottom is going to have to be exposed anyway. Is it cold in here? Well, it's the public health department. We're limited to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Why? To save energy. Okay, I'm sorry. Just like before? Just like before. Yep. Are you sure? I'm sure. Okay. Again, the most important thing for you to do is to relax here, okay? Okay. I'm going to lubricate you first. It's so cold.
Yes, this gel is cold, isn't it? It takes a nice few breaths. Yeah, this will just help relax you a little bit. Okay. Onyx, I may have you hand me this. Thank you. Well, tell me what you're doing, right? Yes, well, I'm lubricating the scope here. Okay. Lots of lubricant on it. Can I break it to you? Oh, no, it's metal. Okay. Now, stick your bottom out. Okay. Stick it out. Okay. And then relax, okay? Okay. It's so cold. Bear down and push. Push, really push. Ah, here's a nice deep breath.
Are you okay with that? Fine, you're just a breath of the beer. Yes, I know, it's not very comfortable. What's that doing? He's just putting the lens on it so that I can see. No delay. We'll take care of that in the living room. Oh, that feels weird. I'm just injecting a little bit of air here. Ah, good. Try to relax as much as possible. But do look more like a person. Stop that. Okay. You're doing okay? Fine, it just feels so weird. Well, I'm sure that it does.
It's probably not a question to having... Does everything look okay? Yes, everything looks just fine. Are you sure? I'm sure. I'm healthy, I won't need this for a long time. Well, unless you have any problems. Just breathe. Go on, put it out. Put it out, yeah? You wait the bottom off here for me. I'm sure you can. Okay. Well, I think you look fine. Thank you, Mitra.
