Tummy tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, removes excess fat and skin and, in most cases, restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer. A flat and well-toned abdomen is something many of us strive for through exercise and weight control. Sometimes these methods cannot achieve our goals. Even individuals of otherwise normal body weight and proportion can develop an abdomen that protrudes or is loose and sagging. The most common causes of this include: Aging Heredity Pregnancy Prior surgery Significant fluctuations in weight What tummy tuck surgery can't do A tummy tuck is not a substitute for weight loss or an appropriate exercise program. Although the results of a tummy tuck are technically permanent, the positive outcome can be greatly diminished by significant fluctuations in your weight. For this reason, individuals who are planning substantial weight loss or women who may be considering future pregnancies would be advised to postpone a tummy tuck. A tummy tuck cannot correct stretch marks, although these may be removed or somewhat improved if they are located on the areas of excess skin that will be excised.

A fractured rib is usually a result of a fall or accident. Prolonged coughing and sports with repetitive movement, such as golf, also can cause a rib fracture. Symptoms include pain when taking a deep breath, pressing on the injured area, or bending or twisting the body. In most cases, fractured ribs usually heal on their own in one or two months. Pain relievers can make it easier to breathe deeply.

Alcoholic hepatitis can occur in people who drink heavily for many years. Symptoms include yellow skin and eyes along with increasing belly size due to fluid accumulation. Treatment involves hydration, nutritional care, and stopping alcohol use. Steroid drugs can help reduce liver inflammation.

Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. While scoliosis can be caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown. Most cases of scoliosis are mild, but some children develop spine deformities that continue to get more severe as they grow. Severe scoliosis can be disabling. An especially severe spinal curve can reduce the amount of space within the chest, making it difficult for the lungs to function properly. Children who have mild scoliosis are monitored closely, usually with X-rays, to see if the curve is getting worse. In many cases, no treatment is necessary. Some children will need to wear a brace to stop the curve from worsening. Others may need surgery to keep the scoliosis from worsening and to straighten severe cases of scoliosis.

To accelerate process, it is used small pressure gradient, which created by motion of syringe plunger with amplitude 1 - 2 ml during administration of solution. - It is provided contact of the whole sino-nasal mucosa with medication. - Prolonged time of the contact of sino-nasal mucosa with medicine provides administration of the therapeutically significant dose. Therapeutic solution administered into paranasal sinuses is considered as a STORE. Thanks to affect mucociliary clearance, therapeutic solution is gradually evacuated from sinuses through ostia. Thereby, prolonged nasal irrigation is performed. - Due to extended contact with saline (NaCl 0,9%), viscous colloidal pathological substance filling paranasal sinuses is dissolved. As a result, its viscosity decreases, and substance is removing by mucociliary clearance. Thereby, drainage function of the ostia are returned some time after finish YAMIK method procedure. -The procedure is performing under local anesthesia. - There is no need in active involvement of the patient. Blowing, pronouncing any sounds like “cuckoo”, holding any things and so on is unnecessary. If is performed by a qualified medical professional the procedure is more effective. - Medication contacts only with nasal passages and paranasal sinuses. Thus, it is provided topical drug therapy. - YAMIK procedure is call sinonasal delivery techniques of a therapeutic solution. It differs from nasal techniques, because medicinal solution contacts not only with nasal mucosa, but with mucous membrane of paranasal sinuses. - The only used drug formulation is a solution. - It is possible non-invasive sample extraction from mucosa of paranasal sinuses (for bacteriological, immunological, cytological and a number of others investigation methods).

Symptoms of Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma Hazy or blurred vision. The appearance of rainbow-colored circles around bright lights. Severe eye and head pain. Nausea or vomiting (accompanying severe eye pain) Sudden sight loss.

SWELLING
If you have a knee that is much more swollen than the opposite knee, especially if the swelling developed soon after you got hurt, then it could be a sign of structural damage. While a small amount of swelling could be normal or a sign of inflammation in the knee, a knee that is really swollen and much larger than the other knee could represent a fracture, torn ACL or other ligament or some other damaged structure.

INABILITY TO FULLY STRAIGHTEN YOUR KNEE
Pain can make it difficult for you to straighten your knee. But being unable to get your knee completely flat can be a sign of an injury like an ACL tear or meniscus tear.

LOCKING OF THE KNEE
Locking is a term orthopedic surgeons use to describe a knee that gets stuck in a certain position. Maybe you can straighten it to a certain point, but it gets stuck around 30 degrees short of fully straight. Or you can’t bend it past a certain point because something inside the knee is blocking it. Catching is a milder form of the same problem, where you can get to the point that the motion stops, but you can twist or rotate your knee past that point.

BUCKLING OR GIVING WAY
Having the tibia (shin bone) shift out from under the femur (thigh bone) usually represents an ACL injury. If your knee buckled during the traumatic injury and keeps happening in the days after the injury, you risk doing more damage to the other structures inside the knee.

This list is not comprehensive, so if you are concerned about your knee injury or knee pain, it never hurts to see your doctor or an orthopedic surgeon.

For open hernia repair surgery, a single long incision is made in the groin. If the hernia is bulging out of the abdominal wall (a direct hernia), the bulge is pushed back into place. If the hernia is going down the inguinal canal (indirect), the hernia sac is either pushed back or tied off and removed.
