Born in 2007, when medical videos had no home.

In 2007, YouTube was new — and real medical videos weren’t welcome there. Procedure footage, clinical examinations and surgical recordings had nowhere to live, so the students, nurses and curious patients who needed them had to hunt scattered copies across the early web.

MedicalVideos.com was built to fix that: collect real medical videos in one place, organise them so they are easy to find, and make it easy for medical students, nurses and the public to learn from real medicine. That is still the job today — only the library has grown up.
